Halle is a deep feeler whose poetry and songwriting are full of wit, heart, and a persistent search for silver linings. Blending the grit of Alanis Morissette with the melodic charm of Sheryl Crow and the raw lyric writing of Fiona Apple, Halle Payne makes classic, acoustically driven, left-of-center pop. After cutting her teeth in Nashville for three years, she moved to London, where she crowdfunded and recorded her debut album Forever From You.
Her emotionally charged, “hope-core” perspective has drawn over a million monthly views on social media. She’s performed at the Camden Club and the Bedford with her six-piece band and is a top contender in the War Child Rising UK competition. Now, with a 20-track album produced by James Russell (Credits: Louis Tomlinson, Phoebe Bridgers, MUNA), Halle is gearing up to release her most ambitious work yet.

Forever From You, Halle’s Debut Album
Halle’s debut album, Forever From You, will be released everywhere on February 28th.
The album opens with sensitive, midnight confessions, underlined by jazzy keys and bold string arrangements, and ends with a bang – lead singles Messy Hot Girl Summer and Let Yourself Out blend modern pop & rock influences (“Good Luck Babe” meets “Good 4 U”), pushing her sound and story into an ambitious new space.
Notable co-writers and producers on the album include staples of the Nashville indie scene – Lo Noom, Bedon, Kate Cosentino, and Doc Henry – and impressive London musicians like Phoebe Axa and Millie Turner. Halle regularly collaborates with her sister, comedian and filmmaker Kendall Alex Payne, to create heartfelt, personal music videos, the most notable of which garnered over 58,000 views on Youtube.
Throughout the album, Halle showcases a finely tuned writing style and a bold determination to carve out her own lane as an artist, storyteller, and musician.
